Support for Local Sheriff Stations
The nation is hurting. Many people are rightfully angered by the actions of several bad cops yet have then turned against the whole institution of law enforcement. We believe that not every cop is bad, and we support our local police force. As a small gesture of gratitude to our police men and women, Karat® by Lollicup teamed up with KCAL Insurance Agency, JJ Bakery, and Panda Express to donate lunch and beverages to the Los Angeles Sheriff Department stations that protect our communities.
On Wednesday, June 17th our CEO, Alan Yu, hand delivered 150 Lollicup bubble tea drinks to the Industry Sheriff’s Station in City of Industry, CA. Together with our partners we catered a luncheon for our local LASD officers to show them that we appreciate their dedication and protection. They received a choice of delicious Lollicup concoctions including Strawberry Lemonade, Honey Lychee Black Tea with Lychee Jelly, and classic Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly. It may be a simple act of kindness but sharing a little joy of Lollicup’s special bubble tea drinks is our way of letting local law enforcement know they have allies. As a former commercial resident of City of Industry, Karat® by Lollicup has a close relationship with the Sheriffs of Industry so our previous headquarters felt safe knowing we had a strong capable law enforcement in our neighborhood.
At the luncheon, we were greeted by Captain Bobby Wyche from the Industry station, Captain Alfred Reyes from the Walnut-Diamond Bar station, and Captain David Flores from the Temple City station. They were very thankful for the support and were going to deliver our donations to their respective team to enjoy.
